Public statement

What was said about me, and what the documents say

A public statement by Filip Dropulić, IFBB international judge and fitness coach, Zagreb, Croatia. First edition, 1 November 2026.

Filip Dropulic

In one paragraph. No body of that federation ever expelled me, and under its own membership rules an individual cannot be a member of it in the first place. No disciplinary measure was ever imposed on me, which its general secretary confirms twice in writing. My international judge card was issued by the IFBB itself, under rules which state that nomination is the national federation's act and that individual requests are not accepted. Two Croatian courts certify that no criminal proceedings for offences prosecuted ex officio and no misdemeanour proceedings are conducted against me. The court case the author of these claims brought against me was rejected, and that decision is final.

1. Who I am, in documents

I competed for Croatia and I work as a fitness coach and posing coach. I am an IFBB international judge. The positions I held in the national federation were given to me by that federation, and its own documents describe them.

20 December 2022Extraordinary elective assembly of the national federation. The minutes list me among those present as candidate for sports director of the national team, the assembly elects me to the mandate verification commission and to the candidacy and election commission, and I sign the minutes as their certifier. The minutes record that the remaining offices, being within the competence of the executive board, were filled by that board in a session held the same evening.
15 April 2024The federation's own disciplinary summons describes me as a former official of the federation "in the position of elected SPORTS DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL TEAM", and as a member of an affiliated member club of the federation.
1 September 2025The federation's press release calls me its "former athlete and former official".
28 October 2026An attachment to the general secretary's circular describes me as an official "who held the position of elected sports director of the national fitness and bodybuilding team".

Four documents, all written by the other side, all saying the same thing. I did not appoint myself to anything. They elected me, and they recorded it.

My criminal and misdemeanour record

On 13 September 2026 two Croatian courts issued certificates in my name:

Both certificates are electronically signed by the Ministry of Justice, Administration and Digital Transformation and can be verified by anyone on the ministry's public verification page, by entering the record number and the control number printed on them.

What the Sports Act requires of them, and what follows from it. Article 114 of the Croatian Sports Act, headed "Impediments to management in a national sports federation and umbrella sports associations", provides that a member of a body of a national sports federation may not be a person "pravomoćno osuđena za kaznena djela iz članka 111. stavaka 1. i 2. ovoga Zakona", finally convicted of the criminal offences listed in article 111(1) and (2). The impediment runs on criminal convictions, and on nothing else.

In December 2022 the federation elected me to one of its bodies, and published me on its own list of bodies for the 2022 to 2026 term. A federation that elects a person to one of its bodies states, by that very act, that article 114 is satisfied. It cannot afterwards assert that I breach the Sports Act without asserting a breach of that same article by itself. Both cannot be true at once.

2. The claim that I was expelled from the federation

What was actually published, and what it does not contain.

The press release of 1 September 2025, in the federation's own English version, says:

"the CFBF completely distances itself from its former athlete and former official Filip Dropulić…"Press release of the Croatian Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation, 1 September 2025, published on its website in Croatian and English. The sentence continues with matter that is not reproduced here; see section 7.

It does not say expelled. It does not say excluded. It names no decision of any body on membership, exclusion or discipline, because there is none. The Croatian word used in the media headlines of January 2026 was "izbačen", that is expelled, and the English wording entered circulation through a translation of those articles which the general secretary himself attached to his circular of 28 October 2026, where it appears as a subheading:

"The Croatian Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation expelled him"Attachment "Translation of newpaper Articles Dropulic, Minister Habijan 16.01.2026", page 1, circulated by e-mail on 28 October 2026 to national federations.

Three different things, which the federation itself runs together. Removal from office, exclusion from membership and a disciplinary measure are not the same. The federation can remove a person from office, and claims it did. It cannot exclude me from membership. It imposed no disciplinary measure, and says so itself. On its own website, under the list of its bodies for the 2022 to 2026 term, the following still stood when the page was printed on 13 September 2026:

„SPORTSKI DIREKTOR REPREZENTACIJE: FILIP DROPULIĆ, trajno razriješen funkcije i suspendiran, pokrenut stegovni postupak", that is, permanently removed from office and suspended, disciplinary proceedings initiated.

Those three cannot stand together. Under article 29(7) of the federation's own 2023 rulebook a suspension is a provisional measure which runs until a final decision is taken and at most nine months from the start of the proceedings; it exists precisely because nothing has yet been decided. Permanent removal is an outcome. And the catalogue of disciplinary measures for officials, in article 9(2) of the same rulebook, contains no permanent removal from office at all: a ban on performing a function may under article 10(2) last no longer than five years, and the only permanent measure is permanent exclusion from all activities, which the general secretary states in writing was never imposed. Six weeks after that printout the same federation wrote to national federations that no proceedings are being conducted against me and that no measure was ever imposed.

Three reasons the expulsion claim cannot stand.

First, there is no decision, and he says so himself. In the same consignment of 28 October 2026:

"a disciplinary procedure was initiated against Juratovic and Dropulic, but it was never completed and no disciplinary measures were ever given to them by CFBF DC."

"No disciplinary proceedings are being conducted against FILIP DROPULIC and GORAN JURATOVIC and no disciplinary measures have ever been imposed on them."Both sentences are in the attachment "IFBB irregularities Croatia" to the circular of 28 October 2026. The attachment is unsigned; the covering e-mail is signed in the capacity of general secretary of the federation.

Second, an individual cannot be a member of that federation at all. Its Rules on membership and membership fees, in the version published on its website and adopted on 4 October 2025 as amendments to the rules of 6 March 2016, provide in article 2 that members of the federation may be sports, that is fitness and bodybuilding, associations, meaning clubs. The same rules treat exclusion as a decision of the executive board directed at a member club. The federation's own disciplinary summons of 15 April 2024 describes me accordingly, not as a member of the federation, but as a member of one of its affiliated member clubs.

Third, a press release is not a decision. It has no operative part, no reasoning and no legal remedy, and there is no body to appeal to. In its Croatian original it invokes "Zakonom dane javne ovlasti", public authority granted by law, and in its own English version "legal public authority of the Croatian Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation", while naming no decision of any body on which anything it says about my status rests.

3. The claim about my international judge licence

The press release of 1 September 2025 states that my licence was issued "completely outside the provisions of the Rules of the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation", that I received it "without ever having judged a single fitness and bodybuilding competition before, either nationally or internationally", and without the national federation "ever officially applied him for the international judge exam". The attachment to the circular of 28 October 2026 repeats it as "outside all IFBB rules and protocols".

The rule I rely on is not my reading but theirs. In its own disciplinary summons of 15 April 2024 the federation cites articles 13.1 and 13.3 of the IFBB Federation Rules for Bodybuilding and Fitness, 2023 edition, the text in force when my card was approved, and reads them itself as meaning that a candidate for the international judge examination "može biti prijavljen od strane nacionalnog saveza", that is, may be registered for it by the national federation. The registration is therefore the federation's act, on their own reading of the edition they themselves chose to cite.

The edition I hold is the 2024 one. It sets out the same structure. Point 13.4:

"Each National Federation is responsible for nominating qualified national judges to take an exam for international class. The National Federation must provide on the names of all individuals who is nominates to take the test at the competition and/or one of the IFBB World Judges Seminars. Individual requests will not be accepted."

Point 13.5, C-Class, requires nomination by the IFBB affiliated national federation the judge is a member of, participation in an IFBB Judges Seminar with the theoretical test, and the practical test at an IFBB international competition indicated by the IFBB Judges Committee. Point 13.7 provides that the International Judge Card is issued by the IFBB after both tests have been passed and a one time fee paid.

What I hold: an IFBB Certificate of Participation in the IFBB Judging and Technical Webinar, dated 7 September 2021, number 09.2021 PF 0178, signed by the president of the IFBB and the president of the IFBB Judges Committee; and IFBB International Judge Card number 01/11/23/CRO, country Croatia, marked approved on 4 November 2023 and signed by the president of the IFBB Judges Committee. The card states on its face that it remains the property of the IFBB.

What I actually did before the card was issued

Two things, both on the IFBB's own forms.

At the Balkan Championship 2023, held from 21 to 23 April 2023 in North Macedonia, I completed IFBB Form 3 sheets marked TEST in the judge's number box, in my name, with my country and my signature, placing the competitors in Senior Men's Physique up to and including 178 cm and in Women's Bikini up to and including 169 cm. On those two sheets the accuracy is worked out on the paper itself: 45 minus 6 of 45, 87 per cent, and 55 minus 10 of 55, 82 per cent. Point 13.6.1 of the IFBB General Rules sets the pass mark for the practical judging test at "an average accuracy of 80% at least".The official results of that championship are published by the IFBB itself: "Balkan Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, Balkan Championship 2023, 21.04-23.04.2023, NORTH MACEDONIA, OFFICIAL RESULTS", on ifbb.com.

At the IFBB World Championships in Santa Susanna 2023, the championship during which my card was approved on 4 November 2023, I completed the IFBB's TEST-JUDGE'S MARKS forms, again in my name and signed, in the eliminations and in the semi-finals, in Master Bodyfitness 35 to 39 open, in Men's Physique up to 179 cm and in Junior Women's Bikini 21 to 23 over 166 cm. One of them carries "TEST No.: 1". Point 13.5 c requires precisely that, the practical skills test "at one of the IFBB international competition indicated by the IFBB Judges Committee".

So the sentence in the press release, that I received the licence "without ever having judged a single fitness and bodybuilding competition before, either nationally or internationally", is contradicted by the IFBB's own forms, completed and signed by me at IFBB events, the first of them more than six months before the card was approved.

Under point 13.7 the IFBB issues that card only once it is itself satisfied that both tests have been passed and the fee paid. Whether that assessment was correct is for the IFBB to say, not for me. What follows from it for my position is only this: the acts I am charged with, nomination and registration for the examination, were under those rules not within my power to perform. If the nomination was irregular, that is a matter between the federations and for the body that accepted it.

A note on the two editions, so that nobody has to ask. The numbering shifted: what the federation cites as 13.3 of the 2023 edition corresponds to 13.4 of the 2024 edition. The 2024 edition states on its face that it was approved in 2014 and modified by congress decisions up to 2022. I cite it because it is the text I hold, and I lead with the federation's own citation of the 2023 edition precisely because that is the text that was in force in November 2023.

The part of the rulebook that does not help me, stated openly. Point 13.1 of the same rules provides that judges wishing to judge at international competitions "must first be qualified to judge at the national level". I had not been qualified as a national judge before November 2023. That is a different thing from never having judged, which the section above answers, but it is a condition in the rulebook and I state it. I do so because a reader who checks the rulebook will find it, and because a defence that hides the inconvenient provision is worth nothing.

Who could have qualified me is a matter of public record. The historical extract from the Register of Associations of the Republic of Croatia, issued by the City of Zagreb on 10 October 2024, KLASA 230-01/24-09/162, lists under "Povijesni prikaz osoba ovlaštenih za zastupanje" every person ever entered as authorised to represent this federation. After a mandate running to 21 September 2018, the next entry is the mandate of 20 December 2022, entered in the register on 22 March 2024. Between those two dates the register shows no one at all. For five and a half years the national federation had no person entered as authorised to represent it, which is also what its own general secretary writes and what the sports inspectorate found. A national judging qualification could not be obtained from a federation in that condition, and in any event whether the requirements were met was for the IFBB to assess, which it did.

The objection taken from the register also cuts both ways. The claim that my licence is irregular rests on who was, and was not, entered in the Register of Associations. The same register, in the same historical extract, shows that from 21 September 2018 until 22 March 2024 the objecting federation had no person entered as authorised to represent it either. Its own registered activities, as the current extract issued by the Bjelovar-Bilogora County on 18 September 2026 records them, include "organiziranje i vođenje sportskih natjecanja u fitnessu i bodybuildingu" and "stručno usavršavanje i licenciranje stručnih kadrova", the organising and running of competitions in the sport and the professional development and licensing of professional staff. If the register decides who could act in Croatian sport in that period, then in that period nobody could: neither the body that entered me for the examination, nor the body that now objects. Whether the requirements were met was decided by the IFBB, and the IFBB decided it and issued the card.

What follows from it is not what the claim says. That condition, like the nomination, is assessed by the national federation and by the IFBB, never by the candidate. The other side describes the mechanics itself: on the entry form for the 2023 World Championship, "filled out by Goran Juratovic", I "was also registered as a candidate for taking the test for IFBB international judge", and I "was registered for taking international judge exam" by that body. Every verb in their own account has me as the object of the act, not its author. The IFBB Judges Committee then conducted the examinations and its president signed the card.

4. The claim of "scandals and unlawful acts" and "court judgments"

The circular of 28 October 2026, in the body of the message, states:

"Ralph Decelis and Rafael Santonja are determined - at any cost - to install former Croatian competitor Filip Dropulić as president of the CFBF, even though this individual is linked to numerous scandals and unlawful acts, some of which have resulted in court judgments."Circular letter of 28 October 2026, sent to members of the IFBB and, in the author's words, "all other interested parties", with all recipients in blind copy, one day before elections to the governing bodies of the IFBB.

Against that sentence stand the following documents:

  1. The two court certificates of 13 September 2026 set out in section 1.
  2. The court case the author of that sentence brought against me, a private criminal prosecution of 10 August 2023, was rejected by the Municipal Criminal Court in Zagreb by ruling no. K-1528/2025-10 of 15 May 2026, under article 525(2) in connection with article 78(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act, because it was "nepodobna za postupanje suda", unsuitable for the court to act upon. The court's own notice of finality, no. K-1528/2025-15 of 2 July 2026, records that the ruling became final on 12 June 2026. No appeal was lodged. Not one of its allegations was ever examined on the merits, because the court never reached them.
  3. On 19 June 2026 the Municipal Misdemeanour Court in Split, in its statement no. 26 Su-537/2026, replied regarding an old misdemeanour matter, citing article 77(2) of the Misdemeanour Act, that after three years from the finality of such a decision the person "is considered to have no conviction under that decision and any use of those data about him as the perpetrator of a misdemeanour is prohibited and has no legal effect", and that "rehabilitation takes effect by operation of law" (article 77(3)). It adds, citing article 78(6), that "data on a misdemeanour for which rehabilitation has taken effect may not be given to anyone, nor used for any purpose". The same statement records that the decision in that matter became final on 13 April 2016, which places the three year point in April 2019, and that the decision is not to be found in the public search engine of Croatian court decisions. That is why I do not discuss the content of that matter publicly. What may and may not be done with those data is stated by the competent court in the passage quoted above.

So there are no judgments in the plural. There is one matter which the competent court has declared legally closed and unusable, and one case which the author of the sentence brought himself and which was dismissed without any of it being examined.

5. The disciplinary proceedings, and what became of them

On 15 April 2024 the federation opened disciplinary proceedings against me and at the same time imposed a temporary suspension, in its own words "starting from 15 April 2024, and for a maximum of nine (9) months", stating that there was no right of appeal against it.

Those proceedings were conducted under the federation's Rules on disciplinary and material liability of 14 January 2023, whose article 24 provides in full:

"(1) First instance disciplinary proceedings must be carried out within six (6) months counting from the day the report was filed. (2) If the proceedings are not concluded within this period, the proceedings shall be deemed discontinued, and the person who filed the report has the right of appeal to the second instance body."

The six months run from the filing of the report, which necessarily preceded 15 April 2024, so the period had expired by 15 October 2024 at the latest. The temporary suspension, capped at nine months from the start of the proceedings, had expired by 15 January 2025 at the latest.

I did receive the decision of 15 April 2024 imposing that suspension. No decision concluding those proceedings was ever taken, and none was ever served on me. Nor was the official report and request to initiate proceedings, on which that summons relies and of which the general secretary's own judging notes are stated to form an integral part, ever served on me.

The 2026 circular states that the rulebook provides a nine month deadline and that the proceedings lapsed on 15 January 2025. A nine month period for completing proceedings was introduced only by the new rulebook of 1 June 2025, more than a year after these proceedings began, and by that date they had already lapsed. Article 48 of that 2025 rulebook provides that it applies to proceedings not concluded on the day of its adoption; these were concluded on 15 October 2024, more than seven months earlier, so article 48 can neither reach them nor revive them. Under either calculation the result is identical: they ended without any decision. The federation's own general secretary states that same conclusion twice in that same consignment.

Several accusations were listed in those proceedings. The 2026 attachment repeats three of them: that I presented myself as coach of the national team, that I sat the international judge examination without being registered with the national federation, and that I unlawfully represented Croatia at the 2023 IFBB Congress. The summons itself puts the latter more fully: that I "nezakonito predstavljao Republiku Hrvatsku na Godišnjem Kongresu (AGM) IFBB Federation 2023 te nezakonito vodio reprezentaciju Republike Hrvatske bez ovlaštenja jedinog nacionalnog saveza… na Prvenstvu Svijeta 2023.", that is, unlawfully represented Croatia at the 2023 IFBB Congress and unlawfully led the Croatian national team at the 2023 World Championship without the authorisation of the national federation. No body ever ruled on any of them, because the proceedings ended before any decision. On the first of the three, the same author writes the following in the same 2026 document:

"the Croatian national team for the 2023 European Championship was led on behalf of the Croatian Olympic Committee two Croatian federation's officials: Filip Dropulic and Boris Presecki"

The same federation's summons of 15 April 2024 says it in Croatian: at the 2023 European Championship I was "u funkciji „člana vodstva reprezentacije"… prema odluci Glavnog tajnika HOO-a", in the function of a member of the national team leadership, by decision of the Secretary General of the Croatian Olympic Committee.

On the second, see section 3. On the third, nothing has ever been decided and no body has ever asked me to answer for it.

The World Championship limb of that charge, and the same claim repeated in the 2026 attachment, that in 2023 I took part outside the federation in Croatian participation at that championship, is answered by documents. On 27 June 2023 the IFBB itself, by a certificate signed by its general secretary, provisionally recognised another association in Croatia as its member and stated that the recognition "entitles CFBBC to send its national teams to all IFBB competitions". The entry for that championship was sent to the IFBB on 16 October 2023 by the president of that association, not by me, and on 17 September 2026 the IFBB head office confirmed in writing that no other entry form for Croatia was received for that event. Whether that recognition was correct is a dispute between the federations. It was not mine to decide, and no body has ever decided that I did anything unlawful by competing or by being present there.

There is a second half to this, and it does not come from me. In the same 2026 attachment the author writes that until the court proceedings were resolved "the CFBF could not legally enter its elected representatives (the president, vice-president and secretary) into the Register of Associations Republic of Croatia and the CFBF could not do any business with third parties or simply put, CFBF could not function at full capacity", and that only "in mid-March 2024" were its representatives registered and the federation "finally able to function normally to its full extent". In its own summons of 15 April 2024, when it suited the opposite conclusion, the same federation had written that "tijela unutar HBBS-a funkcionirala su normalno i bez zapreka u periodu od 20. prosinca 2022. do 12. ožujka 2024.", that its bodies functioned normally and without obstacle throughout exactly that period. Both positions are theirs, each taken when it was needed. The Croatian sports inspectorate found the same, and gave it as its reason for imposing no measures: the governing bodies elected on 20 December 2022 were entered in the register only in March 2024, and "in the said period the federation was not in a position to operate lawfully".

So for the whole of 2023 the national federation was, on its own account and on the finding of a state inspection body, not operating. In that year the only body the IFBB had authorised to send national teams from Croatia was the association it had recognised on 27 June 2023. That was the only route open to Croatian competitors to IFBB competitions that year, and I did not create it. The same applies to every Croatian competitor who went to those championships in 2023, and to the results they achieved there.

6. The sequence, by date

These are dates from documents. I draw no conclusion from them and I allege no agreement between anyone. I set them out because they have not been published together before.

20 Dec 2022The current leadership of the federation is elected at the assembly, and the executive board elected there fills the remaining offices the same evening.
12 May 2023Three days after the 2023 European Championship I speak publicly, in a live broadcast on my own profile, about the championship, the national team and the selection criteria. That broadcast is the act named in the private prosecution of 10 August 2023, which was rejected in 2026. The 2026 attachment treats that period as the turning point: "Filip Dropulic's switching sides was actually the main reason for the sudden stop of support for the Croatian federation by the IFBB."
27 Jun 2023The IFBB, by a certificate signed by its general secretary, provisionally recognises as its member another association in Croatia, under the presidency of Goran Juratović, stating that the recognition "entitles CFBBC to send its national teams to all IFBB competitions".
11 Jul 2023That association publicly announces the founding of a new federation under the name Hrvatski fitness i bodybuilding savez, and writes: "Uostalom upravo smo zajedničkom suradnjom sa Filipom Dropulicem zaljubljnikom u ovaj sport i dobili ovaj certifikat i priznanje", that is, we obtained this certificate and recognition precisely through joint cooperation with Filip Dropulić. The existing federation took that same name on 10 September 2024.
10 Aug 2023The general secretary files a private criminal prosecution against me at the Municipal Court in Bjelovar.
16 Oct 2023The entry of the Croatian competitors for the 2023 World Championship is sent to the IFBB by the president of the association recognised on 27 June 2023. It was not sent by me. On 17 September 2026 the IFBB head office confirmed in writing that "no other or additional Final Entry Form for Croatia was received" for that event.
Mar 2024The Croatian sports inspectorate, in its act of 3 March 2025, gives as its reason for not imposing measures on the federation that its governing bodies elected on 20 December 2022 were entered in the Register of Associations only in March 2024, and that "in the said period the federation was not in a position to operate lawfully".
15 Apr 2024Disciplinary proceedings and temporary suspension against me.
by 15 Oct 2024The six month period expires. The proceedings are discontinued by operation of the federation's own rules, without any decision.
24 Apr 2025By the general secretary's own public account in the 2026 circular, the IFBB opened disciplinary proceedings against him on this day, he was given "a lifetime ban from the IFBB", he filed an appeal in time, and no second instance decision has followed. Those are his words about his own case and I take no position on them.
1 Jun 2025The federation's executive board adopts a new disciplinary rulebook. Compared with the 2023 version it deletes article 1(4), under which the IFBB Disciplinary Code "applies directly without any body of the federation having to decide on it", and deletes from article 1(3) the passage stating that the IFBB "has the right to discipline" the federation together with its list of IFBB rules, while keeping the general statement of alignment with the IFBB statute and code. At the same time it extends the federation's disciplinary reach, in the new article 2(1)(h), to "all other legal and natural persons in the system of fitness and bodybuilding sport in the Republic of Croatia directly or indirectly connected to the federation".
22 Jun 2025Eight weeks after those first suspensions, a video concerning me is published on a YouTube channel. In June 2025 I report its content to the Zagreb police administration and to the public prosecution service. On 4 June 2026 YouTube blocks the video.
12 Aug 2025Twenty days before that press release, Meta replies to my report of 11 August 2025: "We disabled access to the content you reported for going against our Community Standards."
1 Sep 2025The federation publishes the press release about me, invoking public authority granted by law.
15 and 16 Jan 2026Croatian media publish articles citing that press release as their source. Regional outlets follow.
10 Mar 2026My wife sends the federation her first request in the matter of a state award for a top sporting achievement.
12 Mar 2026At around 18:00 police officers enter and search my home. I complained about it on 23 March 2026, KLASA NK-050-01/26-01/1388, and supplemented the complaint in writing. In it I state that the entry and search were carried out without a court warrant, after I had been told I would be taken in if I did not allow it, and that nothing unlawful was found. On 27 March 2026, on a summons, I attended the criminal police and gave a full statement. I set out the dates and allege no connection between them. The two court certificates in section 1 were issued six months later.
15 May 2026His private criminal prosecution against me is rejected. Final on 12 June 2026.
4 Jun 2026After my privacy complaint of 28 May 2026, reference Q3RVIV6I63QAJ3HYQT4AG5WSPQ, YouTube blocks the content.
19 Jun 2026The Split court issues the statement quoted in section 4.
13 Sep 2026I ask the federation in writing to erase my personal data, attaching that court statement. No reply.
28 Oct 2026The circular goes out to national federations with twenty seven attachments, all recipients in blind copy, one day before elections to the governing bodies of the IFBB. Forty five days earlier, on 13 September 2026, I had sent the federation a written request to erase my personal data with the Split court's statement attached, and received no reply. The same evening, at 20:34, I supplemented my request before the Personal Data Protection Agency with that circular.

Where the claims in the media came from

The questions the journalists put to me were expressly built on the federation's claims. The ten written questions a 24sata journalist sent me on 15 January 2026 at 12:39 are built throughout on the federation's own statements. Three of them, in the original Croatian:

„Kad je u pitanju navod HFBS-a da „kršite odredbe Zakona o sportu", kako na to gledate?"

„HFBS navodi niz Vaših navodnih prekršaja zbog kojih su primijenili odredbe statuta stegovnog postupka. Smatrate li da je to opravdano?"

„Među ostalim navode da se lažno predstavljate kao national representation coach. Kako to komentirate?"Written questions of 15 January 2026, 12:39. In English: how do you view the HFBS claim that you are breaching the provisions of the Sports Act; HFBS lists a number of your alleged offences for which they applied the disciplinary provisions, do you consider that justified; among other things they claim that you falsely present yourself as national representation coach.

I answered all ten in writing the same day at 16:20, with attachments, and the journalist sent me my statements back before they went to print. A second outlet, Jutarnji list, put a written question to me on 16 January 2026 at 11:01; I answered at 11:09, within eight minutes. That outlet published nothing on the subject.

Nine months later the same material came back. The attachment to the circular of 28 October 2026 gathers 51 links to those articles, on 36 different domains, into a single list, and states that the matter was "published in a short period on over 50 information portals in Croatia and the region (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro)". That list was then sent to national federations abroad.

I do not claim here who contacted which newsroom. I set out what the journalists' own questions were built on, and what was done with those articles afterwards.

7. What I do not claim, and what I leave out

8. Where this stands now, and what I ask

The claims described above are the subject of a case before the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency and of an inspection by the sports inspectorate of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport.

Criminal proceedings

Criminal complaints have been filed with the public prosecution service. I will not comment on the course of those matters while they are pending.

What I ask is simple, and it is addressed to anyone who has repeated these claims or is considering doing so. Either name the decision of a competent body which supports the claim, or withdraw it. For not one of the claims set out above does such a decision exist, and for several of them the opposite has been established in writing, either by a Croatian court or by the author of the claim himself.

I continue to work in my profession. My international judge card was issued by the international federation and has not been withdrawn. I am free to work with whomever I choose, within the law.

I am legally clear, and that is not my assertion but the content of the documents set out above. No criminal proceedings for offences prosecuted ex officio and no misdemeanour proceedings are conducted against me, certified by two Croatian courts on 13 September 2026. No disciplinary measure has ever been imposed on me by the federation, which its general secretary states twice in writing. No ban or suspension imposed on me or served on me is in force against me. The private prosecution brought against me by the author of these claims was rejected and that ruling is final. No decision restricting what I may do in this sport is known to me or has ever been served on me, and in October 2026 the federation itself confirmed in writing that there is none.

One last thing, which is not a legal question but a fact of my life. From June 2025, when I first reported content about myself to the Zagreb police administration, to the day I am writing this, my family and I have been living through what I can only call terror. That is how I experience it and that is what I call it here. Part of it is set out in the preceding sections, and everything else I have reported to the competent authorities myself; I will not comment on those matters while they are running: articles published about me across Croatia and the region, 51 links on 36 domains gathered into a single list and sent to national federations abroad, police entering my home on 12 March 2026, reports filed with institutions against me and against people around me, not one of which ended in a finding of any breach, approaches made to my associates, clients and sponsors with messages about me, pressure on people from my working and private life who have nothing to do with any of this, and proceedings that are still running. Not one of the claims that set all of this in motion has been confirmed by a decision of a competent body. I do not carry this alone. My family carries it too.

Why all of this happened I do not assert here. I have set out the documents and the dates. Let the reader draw their own conclusion as to why.
